Ms. Maria Leibel

I am privileged enough to be both a parent and a teacher at St. Jude! I am a lifelong westsider and graduate of Our Lady of the Visitation and St. Ursula Academy. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati in Communication and Organizational Leadership and my Master's degree in Education from Mount St. Joseph University. I have always taught within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and experienced in both Kindergarten and First Grade. My favorite thing to teach is Phonics and Reading. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel to learn about new places and reading all different kinds of books.

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
